Compostela Valley cops chase suspected NPA over precinct hit Apr 24th 2013, 00:13 MANILA, Philippines--A hot pursuit operation was launched against suspected New People's Army members allegedly responsible for attacking a police station in Compostela Valley late Tuesday, police said Wednesday. Senior Superintendent Camilo Cascolan, provincial police director, said some witnesses claimed to have seen two armed men on board a red TMX motorcycle traveling from Purok Mauswagon going towards Barangay (village) Cabuyoan. Police said the suspects fired what could have been a grenade launcher at the Mabini Municipal Station around 7:25 p.m. Tuesday, damaging windows and the exterior part of the building's second floor.
