Gazmin aide named Army division chief in Central Luzon Jul 19th 2013, 00:54 MANILA, Philippines -- The Philippine Army in Central Luzon will have its new commander in a turnover rites at Fort Magsaysay in Nueva Ecija today, Friday. Brigadier General Hernando Iriberri will be the new chief of the Army's 7th Infantry Division, replacing Major General Gregorio Pio Catapang Jr., who led the division for nine months and was recently assigned to the top post of the Northern Luzon Command. Prior to his new designation, Iriberri was the Brigade Commander of Army's 503rd Brigade in Abra, from January to July 2013.
