MANILA, Philippines—A 4.3-magnitude quake hit Surigao del Sur Thursday morning, but no aftershocks were expected. The tremor was recorded at 7 a.m., and its epicenter was located 27 kilometers southeast of Tandag town, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
