Fire hits area near Makati Medical Center Jul 11th 2013, 03:00 MANILA, Philippines – A fire broke out near the Makati Medical Center in Makati city Thursday morning.   The fire started around 10:25am in the Botanical Compound between Amorsolo and Urban streets, according to authorities.   The area is populated by informal settlers and general alarm has been raised.   No reports yet on what the cause of the fire and if there were any casualties.    ...
