Shishkin first at the IX International Chess Festival "Baltic Pearl" Jul 9th 2013, 02:49, by Chess Daily News The IX International Chess Festival "Baltic Pearl" took place from June 29th to July 7th at the Holiday Resort "Breeze" in Lazy, ul. T-2, 76-032 Lazy K / Koszalin, West – Poland. Clear favorite Vadim Shishkin finished first with 6.5 points. He did not have an easy task as it was necessary to evaluate the tiebreak scores to put him above two lower-rated local players. IM Tomask Warakomski and WGM Joanna Majdan-Gajewska finished second and third, respectively.
