N. Korea leader calls for easing of tensions with S. Korea Jan 1st 2013, 01:19 SEOUL - North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un called Tuesday for efforts to ease cross-border tensions with the South by following through on previous joint declarations signed by the two Koreas. "An important issue in putting an end to the division of the country and achieving its reunification is to remove confrontation between the North and the South," Kim said in his New Year's message, carried by state media....
