MANILA, Philippines—The low pressure area (LPA) is monitored 340 km east of Dinagat Islands, the state-run weather bureau said Sunday. Based on the 4 a.m. advisory of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the LPA will affect Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. "Eastern Visayas and Caraga will experience cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms which may trigger flash floods and landslides," Pagasa said.
