LOS ANGELES, CA—Some 600 people showed up to audition for the East West Players' production of "Chess the Musical," and eight Fil-Ams came away with more than half of the 15 available roles. The Fil-Ams are Joan Almedilla (Florence), Victor E. Chan (Fredrick), Ray A. Rochelle (Molokov), Cesar Cipriano (Ensemble), Jasmine Ejan (Ensemble), Shay Louise (Ensemble), DT Matias (Ensemble) and Justin Vasquez (Ensemble).
