BEVERLY HILLS, California – Doug Davidson of "The Young and the Restless" has won lead actor in a drama series at the Daytime Emmy Awards. He claimed the first award of Sunday night's two-hour telecast and his first trophy after three nominations in the category. He has played Detective Paul Williams since 1978 on the CBS show that came into the Daytime Emmys with a leading 24 nods. Davidson beat out his "The Young and the Restless" co-stars Peter Bergman and Michael Muhney, as well as Jason Thompson of "General Hospital," in the category. ...
