PAF fighter plane missing in Palawan

PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, Philippines – Authorities are searching for a missing fighter plane of the Philippine Air Force, which failed to return to base following a training flight Sunday afternoon. Initial reports from PAF's 570th Wing indicated that the missing plane, an OV-10 Bronco, took off with another fighter jet at around 6:30 p.m. and shortly thereafter last made radio contact at 7 nautical miles east of the Puerto Princesa City International Airport, according to a source who declined to be named for lack of authority to speak on the matter.
