Some 30 members of the Moro National Liberation Front were seen moving with civilians as human shields in Mampang village to support their beleaguered comrades but were blocked by police. "At 3 a.m. today, some 30 armed MNLF tagging along civilians as human shields from Mampang were monitored proceeding to Sta. Catalina,"  Zamboanga City government's Twitter account said. The movement was to support their comrades, it added. Sta. Catalina is one of the affected villages in the standoff between MNLF and government troops. "However, they were blocked by police and TFZ personnel manning checkpoints in the area," it said.  ...
