MANILA, Philippines—Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao, which are affected by an intertropical convergence zone, will experience rains, the state weather bureau said Friday. The ITCZ is a merging of winds from the northern and southern hemispheres. Palawan and the regions of Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Caraga and Davao will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
