Breaking: We Now Know The Origin/Location of The Melissa Hovey Photograph Mar 13th 2013, 00:41 In early 2008 Melissa Hovey of the American Bigfoot Society was contacted via email by a person claiming to have photographed a Bigfoot. The photo is the clearest known photograph of "Bigfoot" ever produced. Hovey was asked by the "witness" to keep the photograph to herself and to not share it publicly. She sat on the photograph for 4 years while she tried to get more information on the photograph. Communication with the "witness" ceased until Hovey decided to finally release the photograph on her blog early last year. Hovey wrote on her blog that her group will continue to retain the rights to the photograph as long as the witness does not come forward to reclaim it. The American Bigfoot Society now holds the copyright for the image "for any and all purposes". Hovey stated on her blog: "As stated in the last article, if and when the true owner of this photo steps up, we will turn the copyright over to them, and they can cover this." Read more »
