3 suspected thieves slain in Laguna shootout Mar 26th 2013, 00:21 CAMP PACIANO RIZAL, Laguna --Three suspected thieves were killed in a shootout with policemen in Biǹan City, Laguna early Tuesday. The police identified the suspects as Danilo Pertez, Jacob Maningas, and Jaypee Villanueva who died of multiple gunshot wounds. Roving policemen encountered the suspects onboard a tricycle in Barangay (village) San Antonio around 3 a.m., according to Biǹan City police chief Superintendent Simnar Gran. He said the suspects came from the adjacent village of Platero, where they held up a male victim, just minutes before the gunfight.
