MANILA, Philippines -- Warm weather will likely continue even as the whole country will have partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly over the eastern section due to easterlies, the state weather bureau said Thursday. Easterlies are winds blowing from the east. Light to moderate winds blowing from the east to southeast will prevail over Luzon and coming from the east to northeast over Visayas and Mindanao.
