ISRAEL LAUNCHES AIRSTRIKE ON GAZA IN RESPONSE TO MISSILE LAUNCH SEVERAL HOURS AGO, FIRST TIME SINCE OPERATION PILLAR OF DEFENSE Apr 2nd 2013, 23:20 Israeli planes carried out bombing sorties over the Gaza Strip late Tuesday night, responding to rocket attacks out of the Palestinian enclave earlier in the day.
