Vivant inks power supply deal with Manila Water

MANILA, Philippines—Publicly listed Vivant Corp. said its affiliate had secured a power supply contract with Ayala-led water services provider Manila Water Corp.   In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange on Thursday, Vivant said it was advised by its associate, Vivant-Sta. Clara Northern Renewables Corp., that it had entered into a back-up power supply contract with Manila Water Corp.   "The contract involves the supply of about 8.6 megawatts of back-up power for Manila Water's five pumping stations at certain months of the year," Vivant said.   Northern Renewables is the Independent Power Producer (IPP) Administrator of the 70- MW Bakun ...
