One of the most anticipated births of this generation, let alone this year, was the first-born child of music superstars Beyonce and Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter. On January 7, the "Crazy in Love" singer delivered the couple's daughter, Blue Ivy, in the utmost secrecy. Though NYC's Lenox Hill Hospital denied the rumors, the music superstars reportedly rented out an entire floor of for $1.3 million in an effort to protect their privacy and ensure that there were no prying paparazzi in the vicinity. Anything for their little girl! And parenthood certainly seems to be agreeing with Bey and Jay-Z. "[Having a daughter] just gives you purpose and all of the things that my self-esteem was associated with, it's all completely different," Beyonce told Anderson Cooper, adding that she even gets a kick out of changing diapers.
