Sultan's men, Malaysian forces exchange fire Mar 1st 2013, 03:17 MANILA, Philippines -- An exchange of gunfire ensued between the group of Sultan Jamalul Kiram of Sulu and Malaysian authorities, a spokesman for the Sultanate said in a press conference Friday. Abraham Idjirani said the Malaysian forces fired first at their supporters. The sultan, at a press conference in Taguig, said, "Ang sabi ko sa kanila, isa-isa lang ang putok sapagkat mahirap mawalan ng bala." "May bolo pa sila, may itak sila," he added. The Sultan's wife Dayang Dayang Fatima Celia Kiram, meanwhile said they were leaving it up to Allah.
