Search and rescue operations continue for missing OV-10 plane Jun 24th 2013, 01:27 MANILA, Philippines – Search and rescue operations continued as the Philippine Air Force on Monday confirmed that an OV-10 plane went missing in Palawan Sunday night with two pilots onboard.   Colonel Miguel Ernesto Okol, PAF spokesman, said rescue teams deployed an S-76 and a Navy Islander for search and rescue.   Two OV-10s took off Palawan for a night flying proficiency flight at around 6:37p.m., but one of the OV-10s (with tail number 630) lost contact with Palawan Tower and failed to land back, while the other (with tail number 139) landed back safely after 53 minutes.   Rescue teams from the Philippine Navy (Assault Ship 71, Patrol Gunboat 383) of...
