Fr. Anscar to be laid to rest Thursday Jan 15th 2013, 21:52 Fr. Anscar J. Chupungco, OSB, the acknowledged dean of Filipino liturgists, will be laid to rest Thursday at the La Loma Catholic Cemetery following the funeral Mass at 8 a.m. at the Abbey of Our Lady of Montserrat in Mendiola, Manila.   Fr. Chupungco died on Jan. 9 at the Paul VI Institute of Liturgy in Malaybalay, Bukidnon. He was 73.   Gaudencio B. Cardinal Rosales, archbishop emeritus of Manila will be the presider and homilist. Lingayen-Dagupan Archbishop Socrates B. Villegas will deliver a message on the awarding of the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice Medal to Fr. Chupungco during the Mass.... Keep on reading: Fr.
