Northern Ireland: Evacuation after pipe bomb thrown Jan 1st 2013, 17:24 A viable pipe bomb was thrown at a house in west Belfast on New Year's Eve. Dozens of homes in the Glenalina Park area of Ballymurphy were evacuated during the alert just after 10pm on Monday.
