Soaring temperatures seen in parts of PH as summer hovers Mar 13th 2013, 00:49 MANILA, Philippines -- Temperatures may soar up to 35 degrees Celsius in parts of the country over the weekend, the state weather bureau said Wednesday. In the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration's extended weather outlook, temperature in Metro Manila may reach up to 35 degrees Celsius on Sunday, March 17. Tuguegarao City in Cagayan may also reach up to 35 degrees Celsius on Saturday, March 16. Metro Manila sizzled at 34.4 degrees Celsius on Tuesday afternoon with the hottest spot recorded at Pagasa Science Garden in Quezon City at 4:10p.m. But the weather bureau has yet to officially declare the summer season, as the northeast mons...
