'Transit' is PH entry to Oscars—FAP Sep 18th 2013, 02:09 MANILA, Philippines — Hannah Espia's "Transit" is the Philippines' entry to the Oscars, according to FIlm Academy of the Philippines head Leo Martinez. "Transit" was Cinemalaya's best picture. The committee on the selection of the Philippine entry to the Oscars is headed by filmmaker Peque Gallaga. The seven-member FAP selection committee decided to send "Transit" to the Oscars Tuesday night. Other committee members are actors Robert Arevalo & Gina Alajar, editor Jess Navarro, directors Elwood Perez, Jose Carreon and Willie Mayo.  ...
