Oxfordshire: Train Hits Car At Sandy Lane Crossing Jan 2nd 2013, 17:00 One man has died when a car was struck by a freight train at a level crossing in the Yarnton village in Oxfordshire. The accident at the Sandy Lane crossing was reported to the British Transport Police at 3.40 pm. "It is believed two people were in the vehicle at the time.
