2 suspects in Maguindanao massacre killed in shootout with police Feb 9th 2013, 03:17 COTABATO CITY – A suspect in the Maguindanao massacre was killed while another alleged Ampatuan henchman was arrested in separate operations in Maguindanao, authorities reported Saturday. Senior Supt. Melecio Mina, chief of the police's Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, said Maguid Amil, 42, of Barangay Iginagampong, Datu Unsay, Maguindanao was killed as he engaged law enforcers in a shootout around 2 p.m. Friday. He was the 100th suspect in the 2009 massacre that government forces were supposed to arrest.
