Bishop cuts ties with Church-based election watchdog Apr 3rd 2013, 22:51 MANILA, Philippines—The Archdiocese of Lipa, one of the largest in the country, has decided to cut its ties with the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV), the official citizen's arm of the Commission on Elections (Comelec).   Lipa Archbishop Ramon Arguelles said the the archdiocese's clergy decided to sever their links with the PPCRV on April 1.
