Nabaty and Vasiliev are the new Israeli chess champions Apr 16th 2013, 02:17 The Israeli Chess Championships 2013 for men and women took place on 6th-14th April at the Palm Beach Hotel in Acre, Israel.In the main event, GM Tamir Nabaty took the winner's trophy after showing a great 2681 rating performance and getting 6.5 points in the 9-round Swiss. He was undefeated and finished the event with two straight wins.Three players tied at 6/9.
