MANILA, Philippines – Mimaropa and Visayas were warned of flashfloods and landslides as a low pressure area hovered Palawan Monday. The LPA was last observed 140 kilometers southwest of Coron, Palawan, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said. "Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romlon, Palawan) and Visayas will experience cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms, which may trigger flashfloods and landslides," Pagasa said.
