MANILA, Philippines -- Informal settlers in Quezon City protested against the demolition of their homes by lying down along the northbound lane of EDSA for several minutes Friday.   Motorists were infuriated at the residents of Sitio (sub-village) San Roque in North Triangle who formed a makeshift barriacade and laid down along EDSA near two major malls, a radio report said.   The informal settlers were forced to get up and clear the road when several motorcycles and private vehicles were finally able to pass through a small gap, it said.   Residents in Sitio San Roque have been offered relocation sites as North Triangle is undergoing development to be ma...
