Galang carries Adamson past Ateneo, into final four in UAAP men's volleyball Feb 16th 2013, 04:33 MANILA, Philippines -- Ron Jay Galang carried Adamson to a crucial 20-25, 25-23, 23-25, 25-16, 15-10 win over pesky also-ran Ateneo Saturday in the UAAP season 75 men's volleyball tournament at the Arena in San Jan. The victory wrapped up the Falcons' elimination round campaign with a 9-5 record that also ushered them into the final four. The power-hitting Galang nailed 21 points for Adamson, 19 coming off hits which included the game-clinching attack. Neither team had a clear path to the victory until the fourth set where the Falcons built an early lead en route to an easy win, evening the game at 2-2 before finishing the Blue Eagles off.
