MANILA, Philippines -- San Beda College of Alabang reasserted its superiority in the 14th NCAA-South swimming competitions at the SBCA pool in Muntinlupa. The Sea Lions bagged the women's, boys and girls overall championships, but it was De La Salle Lipa-Batangas which brought home the crown in the men's division while San Beda wound up second. Bannered by six golds and one silver medal haul of Ma. Angeli Alvarez, San Beda racked up 153 points -- based on 9-7-6-5-4-3 points system awarded to the first to sixth places -- in the women's tilt followed by La Salle Lipa (120), and Don Bosco Mandaluyong (72).
