South Carolina college on lockdown after as police search for gunman after student is shot in dorm Feb 27th 2013, 08:00 Coastal Carolina University has gone on lockdown Tuesday evening after a shooting at an off-campus apartment complex, and police say the gunman is still at large. School spokesman Doug Bell said the shooting occurred at University Place, which is adjacent to South Carolina Highway 544 in Conway. According to the official, all students and personnel have been requested to stay indoors.
