MANILA, Philipppines -- A 5.3 magnitude quake shook Davao del Sur Wednesday morning, with aftershocks possible according to state volcanologists. The tectonic quake was recorded at 7:46 a.m., with 7 kilometers northeast of Sarangani as its epicenter, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said. The tremor had a depth of 143 kilometers. Intensity II was felt in General Santos City; Kidapawan City; Koronadal, South Cotabato; Davao City.
