PAL and PIA partner in benefit for disadvantaged school kids Nov 5th 2013, 23:33 SAN FRANCISCO—A luncheon fashion-show fundraiser for disadvantaged children will be held on Sunday, Nov. 17, at Hyatt Embarcadero, sponsored by Philippine International Aid (PIA) and Philippine Airlines. "Holiday Haute Couture XII" features the work of Barge Ramos, who is best known for his barong designs using indigenous fabrics, such as jusi and piña, with modern styling. His women's clothing line also features ethnic weaves and designs. The event also features a Christmas bazaar and auction. Emcees include veteran journalists Lloyd LaCuesta and Diane Dwyer.
