MANILA, Philippines -- Fourteen people were arrested in Laguna following a campaign against illegal drugs in Biñan City before dawn Thursday, police said. Chief Superintendent Benito Estipona said the suspects were arrested after they were allegedly caught sniffing suspected "shabu" (methamphetamine hydrochloride) along a railway in Sitio Tramo Barangay (village) Canlalay in Biñan City. Confiscated from the suspects were two sachets containing suspected shabu with street value of P1,000 and paraphelnalia like foil, tooter, lighter and empty sachets.
