MANILA, Philippines -- The Supreme Court stopped the Commission on Elections (Comelec) from proclaiming the winning partylist groups. The high court issued the ruling following a petition filed by disqualified senior citizen partylist. "A temporary restraining order is issued effective immediately and continuing until further orders from this court, ordering you, respondent Comelec, your agents, representatives or persons acting in your place or stead, to cease and desist from further proclaiming winners among party-list candidates," the high court said in a ruling issued Wednesday morning.
