DSWD readies relief goods and evacuation centers for rainy season Jun 14th 2013, 03:36 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_gHSe4sijM   MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has prepositioned relief goods and determined evacuation centers throughout Metro Manila in preparation for the rainy season.   DSWD Secretary Corazon Soliman said this in an interview over Radyo Inquirer 990AM Friday in light of the strong rains Thursday afternoon that flooded parts of the metropolis and prompted several major schools and universities to suspend classes.   She said that DSWD is constantly coordinating with local government units to ensure that (LGUS) in areas where floods are common are prepared already.  ...
