MANILA, Philippines – Motorists are advised to take alternative routes as illegal settlers rallying against a possible demolition of their homes in Quezon City blocked both lanes of the Agham Road early Monday, police said. Non-uniform personnel Hazel Mendito of Quezon City Police District Tactical Operations Center said the rallyists, led by urban poor group Kadamay, blocked the northbound and southbound lanes of Agham Road a little before 9 a.m. Mendito said the number of rallyists, previously reported to be about 50, has swelled to around 300 as of posting.
