The tournament was organized by the Club de Ajedrez Buztinzuri and Asociación Deportiva Ruta de Europa. The 9-round swiss open had 69 participants from seven federations. GM Deepan Chakkravarthy (India), IM George-Catalin Ardelean (Romania) and FRANCO ALONSO IM Alejandro Franco Alonso (Spain) shared the first place with 7,0/9 points each.
