MANILA, Philippines – Several areas in Metro Manila were flooded early Monday due to monsoon rains, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said. In a Twitter advisory, MMDA said the southbound lane of SM Sucat has been rendered impassable to all types of vehicles due to the waist-deep floodwaters in the area. The opposite lane, on the other hand, was submerged in knee-deep floods, it said. As of 7:36 a.m., Evacom was also recorded with waist-deep waters, while Moonwalk and Don Bosco both have knee-deep waters.
