'Skyfall' wins best original song Feb 25th 2013, 04:49 MANILA, Philippines—"Skyfall" wins best original song in the 85th Academy Awards.   The song of the same title was co-written by British songwriter Paul Epworth and Adele.   Adele recorded it and performed in the Oscars.   "Skyfall" also shares the best sound editing award with "Zero Dark Thirty."   "Skyfall" is the most recent James Bond franchise blockbuster written by playwright-screenwriter John Logan ("The Aviator," "Sweeney Todd" Demon Barber on Fleet Street," "The Gladiator") and directed by Sam Mendes ("American Beauty," "Road To Perdition," Revolutionary Road").
