Mayor's husband in critical condition after Iloilo ambush May 6th 2013, 01:58   MANILA, Philippines—The husband of Lemery Mayor Ligaya Apura was reportedly in critical condition after he was attacked by armed men in Iloilo early Monday, police said. Police Officer 1 John Bagonoc of Lemery police station said Jun Apura was said to be in serious condition after he was shot by still unidentified number of armed men in Barangay Anabo around 9 a.m. He was rushed to the Sara District Hospital.
