1 inmate killed, 12 injured in Bilibid Prison squabble Oct 9th 2013, 02:20 MANILA, Philippines—One inmate was killed and 12 injured in a squabble inside the New Bilibid Prisons late Tuesday. The incident occurred at the Building 3 inside the Maximum Security Prison. Sonny Sarsuelo was sustained a fatal gunshot wound from an improvised firearm locally known as "sumpak," NBP Superintendent Venancio Tesoro said in a phone interview. Inmates Richard Lomibao, Ramil Joseph and John Escobar suffered stab wounds and were taken to the Philippine General Hospital. The rest of the victims sustained minor injuries....
