MANILA, Philippines — Commission on Elections chairman Sixto Brillantes Jr. on Tuesday said barangay elections continued in a number of villages in the country amid initial delays the day before. Elections in at least 94 villages were halted on Monday because ballots did not reach the precincts on time or teachers didn't show up because of security reasons like in Lanao del Sur.
