KIDAPAWAN CITY, Philippines—Thirteen mountaineers who were stranded on Mt. Apo were rescued on Monday afternoon, the city government's spokesperson said.   Psalmer Bernalte, the city information officer, said the rescued trekkers were being given medical attention in Lake Agco, situated at the foot of the country's highest peak.   Some of the mountain climers, Bernalte said, sustained bruises due to the slippery terrain.   It was not known, however, how the climbers were able communicate with the base after being stranded for almost a couple of hours.   Torrential rain in the past three days caused the rivers to swell, making the trail impa...
