Typhoon floods rice fields in northern Philippines Oct 12th 2013, 02:48 MANILA, Philippines—A typhoon flooded villages and farms in the northern Philippine's major rice-growing region early Saturday, but officials said no casualties were immediately reported.   Typhoon Nari slammed into Aurora province northeast of Manila late Friday with 150 kilometers (94 miles) per hour winds and gusts of up to 185 kph (116 mph).
