MANILA, Philippines — The United States Embassy in the Philippines extended its condolences to the families of the victims of the magnitude 7.2 earthquake in Bohol. "The US extends our deepest condolences for the tragic loss of life and injuries as well as damage caused by the earthquake in Bohol, Philippines," the US embassy said in a statement.   "America has always stood by the Philippines in times of need and we do so now," it said.   At least 97 people were killed with hundreds more injured from the quake that struck Bohol, Cebu and other parts of Visayas and Mindanao early Tuesday morning, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Manageme...
