From 11th October to 21st October 2013 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan takes place the 3rd Central Asia Chess Cup for prize fond of the FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov. 

Thirty eight chess players from four Central Asia countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan) take part in the event with a total prize fund 25 000 USD. 


Among the players are 7 grandmasters, 14 international masters and FIDE masters. The Chief Arbiter of the event is Zone 3.4 FIDE President, IA Turdialiev Husan (Uzbekistan).
The playing venue is near from the official hotel of the event "Istiqlol" in the center of Dushanbe.
