Aquino appoints new Sandigan presiding justice Oct 5th 2013, 02:04 MANILA, Philippines—President Benigno Aquino III has appointed Associate Justice Amparo Cabotaje-Tang as presiding Justice of the Sandiganbayan, the country's antigraft court.   The President signed Tang's appointment and Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr. transmitted this to Chief Justice Ma. Lourdes Sereno on Oct. 1.   Prior to her appointment Tang was associate justice at Sandiganbayan.   She was previously employed at the Office of the Solicitor General, rising from solicitor-1 in 1984 to assistant solicitor general from 1994 to 2012, when she was appointed to the Sandiganbayan as associate justice.   She was a trial attorney f...
